About the Event
Every family has a secret. They can be embarrassing, dangerous, humiliating, shocking, wonderful or kept with the best of intentions. The first show of Jewish Women’s Theatre’s 2019 Salon Season will reveal plenty of them in the debut of Family Secrets. This new Salon show features 12 stories from esteemed writers, both women and men, Saturday, April 13th at Industrial Eats’Grand Room in Buellton. Starring Debbie Kasper (two-time Emmy Nominated writer), Michael Naishtut (touring company of Old Jews Telling Jokes), Niloo (well-known Persian wedding singer), and Rosie Moss (of The Rookie).
Secret stories of youthful indiscretions, missteps, and outright naughty activities that make for a moving, eye-opening, and funny show exploring events only whispered about, until now! A woman is teaching a storytelling course on authenticity but is reluctant to reveal her own truth.
