About the Event

SYVJC invites you to join them on October 22nd for a Naturalist guided tour of Lake Cachuma. We will gather at the Marina at 9:30 am for a brief talk by the Naturalist, and then climb aboard the boat for a 90 minute tour of the lake. We will see things not visible from the shore and get information about the lake. For this adventure, bring binoculars if you wish, wear comfortable shoes, preferably rubber soled, wear sunscreen and a hat that won’t blow off.

The cost is only $18 per adult and $12 per child 5-12 years old. Children under 5 are not permitted to sail. Please use the payment button below to reserve 1 or more seats – do not pay thru the County Park’s website. After you have paid, please email Shoshanah with the full names of everyone in your group. Please do not hit reply, as that will send your email to someone else. Seating is limited. The deadline to prepay for seats is August 16th. Please note: if you do not have a County Park’s pass on your windshield, the entrance fee at Cachuma is $10 cash per car, so carpooling is advised.

After the tour, we will gather at Hook’d Bar and Grill for a no host lunch. We hope to see you on the 20th!
